Dream ends with a whimper

Played for around 5 hours i think and eventually went out in 429th place. Very disappointed with last night as i never even got a sniff at anything. Lost a big pot early doors when my trips lost to a flush.

To be honest i dont even have many hands to talk about as i truly didnt get that many good ones at all. I got KK and doubled up when i was semi-short stacked.

Lost a decent pot when BB short stack called my raise from UTG with and hit his flush.

Started with 10k in chips and think my highest point was 15k. That was after about 2-3 hours play so was still short by then. I did make a couple of ill advised bluffs (actually they were ok bluffs but some nutters were calling down everything) but apart from that i just never got moving. Never had the cards to play unfortunately though.

One thing i will say though. The standard of play was brutal if im being honest. So much over aggression and people playing total cack hands. Raising with any Ace or suited connectors and worse. If i had got a decent run of cards i could easily have competed in that event.
